This website brings important digital collections that pertain to American culture and life together in one easy to use interface. The site makes hidden collections easier to find.

By using Mozilla Firefox for access, users can capture citations for the digital objects with the Zotero citation management tool.

The project is a collaboration among 16 Digital Library Federation member libraries but any library or cultural heritage institution can submit collections for inclusion. Information on submitting collections is available from the website. The site is still in development and includes information on requesting features or reporting bugs.
