Scottsdale Public Library
Submitted by bradmac on Tue, 08/25/2009 - 11:26.Our site was recently designed with public use in mind.
It starts with a general hirearchy of tabs at the top with the services we provide. Featured programs and other upcoming programs are featured on the front page. Also a customer favorite is our rotating bookshelf with the New Items at the library. Each cover image provides a direct link to the item in the catalog.
The bottom footer is also similar to a drop down menu, which provides important (but not top level) information on all the pages of the our website.

Vancouver Public Library
Submitted by Leo Klein on Fri, 02/22/2008 - 12:01.Nice if somewhat plain redesign of the Vancouver Public Library site. On the plus side, the bottom navigation is extensive and follows the current pattern on many well-designed sites in this respect.
Also, you can set any library branch as your 'home branch' at which point it appears on the home page. Nice.
On the not-so-plus side, the Calendar is kind of clunky and integration of reading lists is a bit better on other sites.
