M.L.S.: Melanie's Library Shop
Submitted by mcduncan on Tue, 05/15/2007 - 17:14.This store was created by a librarian (me!) for librarians (us!), book lovers (us!), and the fringes of society where the most interesting people hang out.
Here you'll find gifts for the librarians and book lovers in your life (arranged by Dewey Decimal Classification), plus a variety of other odds and ends that appealed to me.
Examples of slogans include:
- "Ask, and a librarian will tell you where to go"
"Don't make me shush you"
"You are what you read"
"Being nice to the librarian means the difference between the right answer and the wrong one"
"Skip the movie, read the book"
"Librarians appreciate manners since we see so few of them"
"YALB: Yet Another Library Blogger"
"C.S.I.: Constantly Seeking Information"
"Librarian by day, hooker by night (Crochet, of course. What were you thinking?)"
"Living in Libraryland"
"I'm too sexy for my library!"
"SHHH! Bibliotherapy in progress"
"Warning! I have a library card and I know how to use it!"
and many, many more!
