Stephen Francoeur, Steven Kaye & Rachel WatsteinExcellent example of what you can do with a Wiki -- in this case, for an "unconference" appropriately enough being organized by Stephen Francoeur in NYC for Tues. Aug. 14.
People are signing themselves up (over 125 at this point) as well as suggesting discussion topics, and of course, anyone can edit any of the pages. This is a good demonstration of the strengths of this technology -- particularly as a vehicle to channel people's interests and enthusiasm in a collaborative online environment.

Thanks for the nod. In all fairness to others, I should note that I am a johnny-come-lately to the organizing. Last year, Steven Kaye started hunting around the NYC metro area for a location for a library camp event. After a few months, he was ably joined in that search by Rachel Watstein. When they came calling on Baruch to see if we could host the event, I became the point person here and got the library to serve as the sponsor for Library Camp NYC. I would also like to note that it was Steven Kaye who initially set up the wiki and seeded it with content to encourage later growth.
I am amazed by how well the wiki has worked for planning this event. My hope is that after the event is over, we'll post meeting notes, photos, etc. as well as link to any blog posts and the like that detail what transpired. If we had the resources available, I would love to have a conference site as rich as the one for Code4Lib 2007 or the Berkman Center's University: Internet and Society Conference 2007, both of which offer audio and video recorded on site.
I'll add both Steven Kaye & Rachel Watstein to the "author(s)" field.
The audio/video would be nice -- if you can get someone to shoot it or parts of it. You can always figure out what to do with it later.
In any case, nice wiki!
