Book Synopsis

Jessica's had the nightmares for as long as she can remember. Nightmares of being judged for people who have died, of being branded by the angels. Her friends and family think she's a crazy because of it all. Yet she carries the mark of the condemned, seared into the back of her neck, and hides it and herself away from the world.

But when two men she can't ignore enter her life everything changes, including the nightmares. The two of them couldn't be more different. She will do anything to be with one of them. Even tell him the truth about angels, why she never sleeps, and the scar on the back of her neck. But one of the two has set events into motion what will puller her toward her own judgment and turn her into the object of her greatest fear.

I was looking for a free book to read while at the airport and stumbled upon this. Boy am I glad I stumbled upon this book, it was a great read and I can’t wait to see what else is in store for the two love birds.

This book was so amazing I couldn’t stop reading it. I could relate with Jess a lot (besides the whole nightmare thing.) The only thing I didn’t enjoy is that I could predict the ending 200 pages before the book ended. Otherwise this book was so extraordinarily well written.
  • Still my favorite ♥️

I cried, I laughed and I also threw my phone down saying “I knew it” at that one point of the book. Overall, I cannot wait to read the rest of this series and you should definitely read this one. It did get slightly confusing but I also am reading at 1:00 am so, I enjoyed this book very much!

I'm sure that this is a 'good' book but not my style of reading. Therefore no review.

This book is really good, it takes you on an emotional rollercoaster... a journey as someone who has been "cursed" and lives on "borrowed" time... I recommend this book to any teen that enjoys a good romance novel with a twist.
  • Amazing.

This book, at first, was confusing. I didn't get the plot I didn't get where the author was going at, but the more I read the more interesting it got. Now I love a good mystery but if the mystery unveiling takes a while I'll drop the book. But with this book it's a whole other level. The characters are ever so unique in theirs own way. The author makes wonderful characters, though few, played a huge factor in this story. I don't normally write reviews for anything, but this book was something that I just couldn't let go. I'm so glad to have read this book. I recommend anyone who loves a good romantic novel with some different perceptions and a love for supernatural beings to read this. I will continue on reading this series and I will most definitely be doing a follow-up review of my thoughts. Thanks so much again author.
  • Oh my gosh

I’m just going to start this off by saying that I NEVER write reviews, for ANYTHING. I just had to make one for this book. Trust me when I say that I had my doubts when I first started reading it from the first chapter, but my doubts were soon relaced by the mere fact that I couldn’t put this down. I managed to read the entire book in a little less than 2 and a half hours. (not including snack breaks :3 ) It is just the fact that I didn’t want to put the book down no matter what… even thought I ended up finishing it up at 3:30 in the morning… All in all this book was absolutely fantastic and is a nice read, I highly suggest you read this if you accidentally stumble across it like it fortunatly did!!
